8 thousand of lavender seeds has been planted on an area of 10 decares in our campus by the Faculty of Agriculture and the Department of Construction and Technical Affairs.Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Derya Yücel, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Celal Yücel and also the staff and students attended the event. Stating hat they started to plant lavender in order to expand the production of lavender in the city, Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan planted lavender seeds with students and staff.
