Events has been held in Şırnak for the 35th Ahi-Order Week. The activities, which started with the presentation of a wreath to the Atatürk statue in the garden of Şırnak Governorship, were then attended by Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin and our Rector Prof. Dr. The event continued with Mehmet Emin Erkan's meeting with the representatives of trade-related institutions in Şırnak. Ahi-Order Week activities continued in Cumhuriyet Square.Institution representatives met with Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin and our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan in the meeting hall of the Governor's Office. In the meeting where information was exchanged about the Ahi culture, our Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan underlined that Akhism is a collective spirit not only for tradesmen and craftsmen, but also for the fabric of the whole society, and he followed as; “Capitalism, which forces people to selfishness, overthrows our historical culture, in which we exist together through helping each other. If we revitalize the Ahi-order culture, which has an important place in our culture, and ensure that it has a place in our lives, we will be able to resist this capitalism culture". The event in the meeting hall ended with the representatives of the institutions presenting flowers to Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin.
