The conference on "Values Education in the Stories of the Prophets in the Qur'an" organized by the Faculty of Theology of our university, has been held at 15 Temmuz Congress and Culture Center. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, General Secretary of our university Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Baz,Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Güneş and also academicians and students showed interest in the conference in which Mehmet Bağış, lecturer at the Faculty of Theology, attended as a speaker.Making the opening speech of the conference, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan stated that the Faculty of Theology has a very important position in our ıniversity and that our young people especially need to work more devotedly on religious education compared to other courses and he thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the conference. Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Güneş, on the other hand, stated that they organize conferences in certain periods every year in order to contribute to the development of students and to inform the society.Attending the conference as a speaker, Dr. Instructor Member Mehmet Bagis; gave a speech on the stories of the Prophets in the Qur'an and the values in these stories. The conference, in which university students showed great interest, ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Mehmet Bağış.
