A conference on "The Anatomy and Historical Background of a Betrayal" has been held at the 15 Temmuz Congress and Culture Center of our University.Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Commando Brigade Commander Brigadier General Tekin Aktemur, Deputy Mayor Sami Geliş, Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Mehmet Fatih Kurt, Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Emre Başbuğ, Deputy Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ali Bahadır Aslan, President of Şırnak TSO Osman Geliş, as well as academic and administrative staff of our university attended the conference.The program, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with the greeting speech of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan. Later, General Secretary of our University, Assoc. Prof. İbrahim Baz made apresentation on “July 15 and FETO: Anatomy and Historical Background of a Betrayal”.After the program, protocol members opened the photography exhibition prepared to commemorate the “July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day” and examined the photographs.
