Ford Otosan has ranted a vehicle to the Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies Department, Automotive Technology Program of Şırnak University Vocational School. A ceremony was held at the Şırnak Vocational School of our university for grant support. Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, General Secretary Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Baz, Director of Şırnak Vocational School Dr. Ferhat Şirin Sökmen, faculty members, faculty deans, vocational school directors, department heads, academic and administrative staff, also Şırnak Ford Otosan Authorized Bayii Transform Automotive A.Ş. Serhat Sökmen, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and dealership employees attended the event. Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan stated that they are trying to provide all kinds of opportunities for students to develop themselves theoretically and said: “Our Şırnak Vocational School prepares beneficial works. They opened a very nice kindergarten class before. We hope our lecturers will prepare beneficial projects. We thank to Ford Otosan A.Ş. for the Ford Brand vehicle donated to our university to support education, and Sökmenler Group and Ford Bayi Conversion Automotive A.Ş. We expect the necessary support from them for both practical training and internship, etc.” The event ended with a music concert and cocktail. Serhat Sökmen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Conversion Automotive delievered the key of the vehicle to the Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan.
