The final matches have been held in the International Cudi Cup Tennis Europe Tournament hosted by our university, in which 81 athletes from 9 countries participated. The final match of the tournament was watched by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakçı, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt, President of Turkish Tennis Federation Cengiz Durmuş, Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin, Mayor Mehmet Yarka, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan and many citizens. In the tournament organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the cooperation of Şırnak Governorship, Şırnak Municipality, Şırnak University, Turkish Tennis Federation and Spor Toto; a total of 81 athletes, 44 boys and 37 girls from Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Poland, Iran, Georgia, England and Lithuania competed.
