Rector of Our university Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan has attended the introductory meeting which was held with the participation of the president of YÖK Prof. Dr. Yekta Saraç, within the scope of the Anatolian Project. Rectors of the Universities of Şırnak, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen, Ardahan, Artvin Bayburt, Çoruh, Bartın, Bingöl, Bitlis Eren, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım, Hakkari, Iğdır, Kilis 7 December, Munzur, Muş Alparslan and Siirt also attended the meeting. The studies carried out by universities so far within the scope of the project were evaluated at the meeting where cooperation between universities in global higher education also was put on the agenda. Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan stated that our university is matched with Istanbul University within the scope of this project. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan emphasized that the academic staff of our university will have the opportunity to benefit from the research infrastructures, laboratories, libraries and databases of Istanbul University.
