The final competition of the 'Cudi Cup National Tennis Tournament' hosted by our university with the participation of 139 athletes from 14 provinces, has been held with the participation of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu. Minister Kasapoğlu attended the event together with Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Deputy of Ak Parti Rizgin Birlik, Mayor Mehmet Yarka, President of the Turkish Tennis Federation Cengiz Durmuş, Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Gendarmerie Regional Commander Brigadier General Ali İhsan Ersoy, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Tamer Bilacan, Chief Public Prosecutor Orhan Al , Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Emre Başbuğ and Youth and Sports Provincial Director Beytullah Birlik.He wished success by meeting with the athletes competing in 4 tennis courts, two of which are indoor and two open, located on the campus area with a view of Cudi Mountain. Following the opening speeches, Minister Kasapoğlu watched the final contest. Habip Anak from Ağrı Youth Sports Club became the first in the tournament and Mehmet Semih Aslan from the same club became the second. In women, Nil Delice from Mersin Sailing and Swimming Club came first, and Ecem Yaren from Adıyaman Youth and Sports Club came second. Minister Kasapoğlu and Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan presented cups and medals to the winners at award ceremony. The ceremony ended with a show of folk dance and a music concert.After the ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports Kasapoğlu visited the Şal Şapik Workshop which is established on the campus area with the contributions of the Governorship, the municipality and the university and he got information about the activities carried out here.
