Event for Nevruz Festival has been organized by the Rectorate of our University by the pool of Mehmet Emin Acar Campus. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şimşek, General Secretary Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Baz, academic and administrative staff and also students attended the event.In his speech stating that the Nevruz is the symbol of unity, togetherness, fraternity, the herald of abundance, fertility and spring; Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan congratulated everyone on Nevruz Festival. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan and General Secretary Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Baz lit the Nevruz fire with our students in the event which continued with the music concert of the Music Department Students. Our Rector performed the halay dance together with the students, later in the event. The event ended with jumping over the lit Nevruz fire.
