Vocational School of Health Services and Environment and Health Club have organized the "Organ Donation Awareness" program as part of the 3-9 November Organ Donation Week. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Director of Vocational School of Health Services Assoc. Dr. Ömer Nayci, academicians and students attended the event. Making the opening speech of the program, Deputy Director of Vocational School of Health Services and President of Environment and Health Club Lect. Cesur Başar stated that they organized this program in order to raise awareness about organ donation and also what happened during the organ donation process and the religious aspect of organ donation. Rector of our Univrsity Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan also mentioned the importance of organ transplantation in his speech and expressed that he believes that people who donate organs leave a mark in this world. Folowing the speeches, program continued by screening of a short film, presentations and shows on organ donation. Organ Donation Week event, which attracted great interest from our students, ended with a "Certificate of Appreciation" to those who contributed to the organization of the program, after the folk music concert.
