Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan attended the August 30 Victory Day events, on its 100th anniversary.Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin, Mayor Mehmet Yarka, Garrison Commander Brigadier General Halil Soysal, 23rd Infantry Division Commander Major General İdris Acartürk, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Murat Bozkurt, Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, heads of institutions, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations and citizens attended the event.A moment of silence was observed at the ceremony, the National Anthem was sung, and a wreath was laid at the Atatürk Monument. Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin accepted the congratulations. As part of the 30 August activities, Our Rector Erkan also visited Ali Şanlı, who was a veteran in the fight against terrorism, at his home.Following the activities, our Rector also attended the dinner given in honor of the relatives of Martyrs and Veterans on the occasion of the 30 August Victory Day . Victory Day events ended with a reception attended by protocol members and citizens at Şehr-i Nuh Hotel.
