Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Our Rector, has attended the events held in Şırnak on the occasion of September 19 Veterans Day. Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, Mayor Mehmet Yarka, Garrison Commander Major General İdris Acartürk, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Mehmet Fatih Kurt and Martyr, Veterans and Security Guards Federation President Mehmet Güngör and many citizens also attended the Veterans Day Celebration ceremonies. After a moment of silence and the National Anthem, a wreath was laid on the Atatürk monument.The ceremony ended with speeches emphasizing the meaning and importance of the day.
