Appointed as the Rector of our University by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Alkış received his mandate at a ceremony held at the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of YÖK, presented the rectorate mandate to our Rector Prof.Dr. Alkış and wished him success in his duty. Stating that he will make great efforts to fulfill the task entrusted to him by President Erdoğan in the best way possible, our Rector Prof. Dr. Alkış said that they will carry out beneficial works on behalf of our university, province and country. Rector Alkış, who also mentioned that they will take initiatives for the development of Şırnak University in every field, thanked to the President of YÖK, Prof. Dr.Erol Özvar. Underlining that they will realize successful projects with new goals in the new period, Prof. Dr. Applause noted that they will work tirelessly to turn Şırnak University into a university that has made a name for itself in its region.
