A ceremony has been held at our University on the occasion of March 18 Martyrs’ Commemoration Day and the 107th anniversary of the Victory of Çanakkale. Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, 23rd Infantry Division Commander Brigadier General İdris Acartürk, Deputy Mayor İhsan Gören, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, Chairman of the Martyr Veterans Families and Security Guards Federation Mehmet Güngör, directors of institutions, military officials, relatives of martyrs and citizens attended the event. The program started with the speech of Şırnak Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan and continued with a cine-vision. During the program, students recited poems. Folk songs and marches were sung and theater plays were performed. The program ended with the awarding of prizes to the winners in poetry, composition and painting competitions.
