Muhammed Emin Saraç,  Prof. Dr. Yekta Saraç's father , has passed away on February 19. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and many state officials attended the funeral ceremony held in Fatih Mosque.After the ceremony which was attended by also our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan, the deceased was buried in Fatih Mosque Hazir. As Şırnak University, we wish mercy on Muhammed Emin Saraç, one of the Turkey's leading tafsir and hadith scholar, and we wish patience to the President of YÖK Prof. Dr. Yekta Saraç.
