“Saving Water Use in Agriculture” Panel organized by Şırnak Provincial Directorate of Agriculture has been held at our University.Rector of Our University Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Alkış, Şırnak Provincial Director of Agriculture Selman Demirel and Dean of Siirt University Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Çetin Karademir, heads of public institutions, citizens and farmers participated in the panel. Provincial Director of Agriculture Selman Demirel made the opening speech of the panel. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Alkış drew attention to the importance of water for the world and all creatures, in his speech. Following the opening speeches, in the first session of the Panel, DSİ 105th Regional Branch Manager Yücel Yıldırım made a presentation to the participants.In the second session of the panel, Assoc. Dr. Ali Beyhan Uçak, Assoc. Dr. Fatih Çığ, Dr. Instructor Aynur Bilmez Özçınar and Prof. Dr. Emine Karademir made their presentations.
