Following is the message our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan issued on Eid al-Adha:"Feasts are very special days when the feelings of unity and brotherhood are strengthened as well as aid and solidarity increase. It is the time when sharing, sincerity and compassion are most intense for us as the Ummah of a Prophet who said, "He who sleeps on a full stomach while his neighbor is hungry, is not one of us". I wish the Eid al-Adha may be a blessing for all our people and humanity. I congratulate the valuable staff of our university, our dear students and the entire Islamic world on Eid al-Adha."
