With the start of the new academic year, a University Security Meeting was held in order to avoid any problems in the registration and accommodation of students.Şırnak Governor Osman Bilgin chaired the University Security Meeting held in our Senate Hall.  Şırnak Mayor Mehmet Yarka, on behalf of our Rector our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şimşek, Şırnak Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Murat Bozkurt, Deputy Provincial Police Chief İbrahim Çıldır, General Secretary of our University Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Baz and representatives of other institutions attended the meeting.Şırnak Police Department Security Branch Supervisor gave a briefing at the meeting, which was organized in order to assist in the registration process of new students due to the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, and to find proactive solutions to the needs of all our students as a whole, such as course registration procedures, accommodation and transportation.At the meeting, t was stated that there are turnstiles at the entrance of our university and at the entrances of all faculties, colleges and vocational schools, and that the camera system works. It was also emphasized that existing deficiencies should be eliminated immediately and what measures could be taken to prevent possible problems.
