The "Zero Waste" Project, which is defined as the waste management approach which contains the prevention of waste, the more efficient use of resources, the prevention or minimization of waste generation by reviewing the reasons for waste generation, and the collection and recovery of waste at its source, is also being implemented at Şırnak University. Our university obtained the "Zero Waste Certificate" from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, in return for its efforts in this field by its Zero Waste Management System. Following the receiving the certificate, Zero Waste Management Coordinatorship has been established at the university.
