This week's guest of Sefine Divanı Meetings, jointly organized by Sefine Divanı and Sefine Education and Thought Club, is our Rector Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Alkış. Starting his speech in which the theories and imaginations of the soul were discussed in a comprehensive way, Prof. Dr. Alkış talked about ego visions  in the history of Islamic thought .For this purpose, our Rector, emphasizing primarily the dictionary meanings of the soul and how it finds its place in the Qur'an, in addition to the uses of the soul in the sense of "spirit" in the Qur'an, sometimes "commanding evil" and sometimes at a higher level. He talked about the meaning of "peaceful", and from this point of view, he discussed the theories of the soul in theology, Islamic philosophy and Sufism with its main lines.The program, in which our Rector provides information about the solutions these theories can produce to today's problems, and the four basic virtues and eight main disgraces of the basic powers of the soul, namely the "kuvve-i gazabiyye, kuvve-i şeheviyye, kuvve-i ilmiyye ve kuvve-i ameliye", ended with the question-answer session of the Divan students.
