Rector of Our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan has paid a congratulatory visit to Vedat Anık, who was appointed as the General Manager of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA). Prof. Dr. M. Tahir Nalbantçılar, Chief Advisor to the Rector and Emrah Ayaz, Deputy General Manager of MTA were also present during the visit. Geological studies for energy raw materials, which are still ongoing and planned to be included in the program, drilling activities for mine and coal research were evaluated, throughout the meeting.Visiting Vedat Anık, who was appointed as the General Manager of MTA, our Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan congratulated his new position and wished him success.Vedat Anık, General Manager of MTA, stating that he was extremely pleased with the visit of Rector Erkan, also expressed that he appreciated the work done by our university and that they wanted to contribute to Şırnak, as the General Directorate on mineral explorations
