Prof. Dr. Nihat Şındak, Rector of Siirt University, has visited our Rector in his office.Ahmet Alanlı,General Secretary of Dicle Development Agency (DIKA), was also present during the visit at the rectorate office. Mutual exchange of ideas was made and consultations were held on possible cooperation between the two universities, during the meeting. Siirt University Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat Şındak thanked to our Rector for his hospitality and wished him continued success in his work.Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erkan gave information about the work done to Rector Şındak, during the tour on campus after the meeting. Our Rector, who gave information about the history of Mehmet Ağa Sor Pavilion, which was rebuilt on our campus from its original stones with the joint work of our university and Dicle Development Agency; later explained that 500 people will be employed in the textile workshop, which was established with the support of Şırnak Governorship, Şırnak Municipality and Şırnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The visit to our campus ended with examining the works carried out at the Şal Şapik Production Facility, which provides employment for 50 people.
