A commission witihin the framework of YÖK’s “Action Plan for Addiction Recovery” has been established at our university. In order to raise awareness about the conscious use of information technologies, internet and social media and the avoidance of harmful substances such as drugs, alcohol, gambling and tobacco within the framework of the Action Plan for Addiction Recovery, a commission  established at our university under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector Prof. Dr Derya Yücel. The commision is also consist of the members form various faculties as Instructor Dr. Arzu Yıldırım, Instructor Dr.Member Burak Iyiekici, Instructor Dr . Muhammed Muhdi Gündüz, Lect. See. Vedat Abdurrahman Özmen, Lecturer Omer Cetinkaya, Lecturer Nejdet Baran, Lecturer Cesur Başar and Lecturer and Lecturer Hüseyin Çapuk. As the head of the comission, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Derya Yücel stated that the aim of the commission is to prepare films, posters, competitions, brochures to combat all kinds of addictions for students, and to include them in scientific studies such as articles, theses, and projects in order to combat addiction.
